Location

Overall The Chedi was a most agreeable place to stay. The service throughout was fantastic. The only let down were the cigarette butts left by the loungers on the beach. The breakfast choice surpasses anyones dreams. Fresh fruit from around the world, cold and hot food - delicious cappucinos. The list goes on. Since being in Muscat for 7 weeks now, I found the food in the Arabian restaurant was the best food I have tasted here. Can't wait to go back. It had a lovely wine list to accompany the meal. I had a 90 minute Balinese massage which topped the stay at the Chedi. We were carefully looked after and pampered. I would highly recommend The Chedi as a place to stay.

A small, quite and very discerning but really fabulous hotel. Fabulous location, fabulous architecture and decor and fabulous grounds. I stay in many hotes globally evry year and Chedi, Muscat is one of my favorites. I love it and desire my home to be the same.

Excellent service from well trained and confidently friendly staff. Some aircraft noise but it's only 15 minutes from the airport so not unexpected. The hotel setting is beautiful in this urban location. Good food but essential to book in advance in each of the hotel's restaurants. There are only 3 non-smoking tables in the main restaurant located in an extremely noisy area adjacent to two kitchens, conversation was impossible. We did not discover any smoke free dining, drinking or relaxing areas any where else on the Chedi property. We spent just over 100 OR a day on lunch, dinner and drinks.

Just the break we needed after a hectic and traumatic few months. My husband and I rarely spend time in any hotel we visit, preferring instead to explore the local sites, but this time we enjoyed the place so much that we really relaxed. My personal favourite was the black slate swimming pool.....it was like swiming through ink! I highly recommend this hotel for its ambience, excellent facilities, suberb menu and relaxing atmosphere.
