The furniture and decor in the room were old fashioned and smelly. the bed cover was stained. We only stayed for one night so it was adequate, continenal breakfast was good but I wouldnt want to have been staying any longer. I will not be going back.

We stayed there for 2 nights (standard room with double bed and sharing bathroom with another 3 rooms), we don't think we will be going to stay there again although the location is quite good and the price is reasonable because the room and the so called "double bed" (it's only a little bit bigger than single bed) is extremely small!!! And you can clearly hear people chatting in the next room... horrible! Oh god!

The room is really very small and the facilities are very old. I won't choose this again.

Since bookings went wrong by internet, we got bigger rooms then we paid for, not bad. The only negative site is I had to go outside to get to my room, not very handy when you want to shower or use the toilet. The washbasin in my room was very cramped in a corner, the TV didn't work, and one day they didn't clean my room. But I don't want to sound too negative, price quality was perfect, location also, and the staff was very friendly!

Breakfast is adequate but limited in variety. There is no lift, which can be a challenge if your room is on the 5th floor. The rooms tend to be very small. Our TV didn't work properly and was never fixed despite the length of our stay. On the bright side, the hotel is very well situated, is cheap, and is generally quiet. The staff are courteous and polite. The Caswell Hotel is really an example of "You get what you pay for". If you just want somewhere cheap and central, where you can crash at night, with a few basic facilities, then this is the place.

Great location close to Victoria and Pimlico tube stations although I recommend Victoria as it is the main line - about a 5 minute walk. The hotel is basic but well priced and perfect for the short stay of 3 nights I had there - after all you are not there to stay in the hotel. All of Londons main attractions are easily reached on the tube - buy a one day travelcard for unlimited travel on the tube - available from any of the tube stations.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. However, the room was very basic and old fashioned. I didn't feel very comfortable that the bedclothes were fresh, although I am sure the sheets were. It was just all quite old and musty. The location is great for walking to Victoria station... but honestly, it's way over priced for sure a basic hotel. This is probably typical in London but you should try find better than this.

Compare to standard (**) and pricing this hotel was very convenient and useful. Nice service, quite clean. Not too beautiful but I found what I need (private bathroom, fridge, hair dryer, pot). A little bit too small space. Very nice place and walking distance to very tourist attractions.

Nice and cosy, but the floor was a bit squeaky. The facilities are sometimes on the other floor than the room. But safe, and the breakfast is OK. (female, 19)

We booked a triple room (2 adults and a child). The room we received was below street level. This was OK. The room was stuffed full of furniture i.e. two double beds literally toe to toe, as well as a wardrobe, bureau and wash stand. Very difficult to store luggage and really only one person could use the empty floor space at a time. However, the breakfast was really good. We also shared a toilet and shower with two other rooms. Both were clean but the hot water supply to the shower wasn't the best and the shower was literally a hold in the wall. No changing space or dry area so we had to undress in our room and dash to the shower with minimum clothing. However, we were paying a cheap price for a swanky part of town and always intended that it would just be a place to rest our heads. For that, it was fine.

Booked a ensuite but they said the electricity was cut - so no ensuite is provided. No lift. Quite far away from the Victoria railway/metro/coach station. But the room itself is spacious and clean.

By London standards extremely good value for money. Very well locayed. Simple but clean room ideal for one or two night stay when you only use the room for sleeping.

Clean but very simple hôtel. Good welcome. Good for 1 or 2 night. No toilet and shower in the room is a problem for longer staying.

The breakfast hosts totally ignored some of the guests. One morning we only got 1 slice of bread each. It seemed to depends on their mood just that morning. Compared to 2* hotels in other countries this war really horrible. The boys in the "reception" were friendly thow.

Good location, very helpfull staff, minute ensuite (a small cubicle in the room)made the room even smaller, also causing some subsidence of the floor and listing to the right, showering very difficult, had to use the common shower. No airconditioning, only one fan.
