This is an old hotel that has been refurbished. it has pleasant staff. Our room was small and the bathroom tiny but it was adequate.

Well first of all I was given a room that hadnt been cleaned after the last occupant....not a great start but I was there for the rugby world cup final so they moved me to a clean room. Then I had a bit of a run in with a staff member who was on the front desk, he was in my mind very unprofessional and later apologised to me, However as a woman by myself I felt very intimidated by his behavior . I however loved being in the bar for the RWC final, I would never stay at this place ever again, because of both of those things happening.

beautiful old building, quiet enough although the rooms are right above a bar. Common shower and toilet was so so but overall very nice for the pricing.

Cheap room, in a reasonably well maintained hotel. Bathrooms and toilets were always well maintained. Service to the room itself was a bit hit-n-miss. Stayed for 8 days. No air-conditioning, so the room smelt a bit like a teenagers room by the end of it. Would use it again as a cheap, very central base for Wellington

This was a fantastic venue. It was the cheapest in town, very friendly staff, excellent location and really nice and clean venue. I will be staying there again :)

Very basic, but clean room (no hairdryer - be warned ladies). Great CBD location and extremely friendly (especially the cleaning staff was extrordinary helpful in sourcing everything I needed, incl. hairdryer from their private resources). Wireless internet is a bonus -even if very expensive.

Very small room but still managed to fit the double bed and bunks in! Nice, modern bathroom. Great location for sstay over if you want to be in the city. Wouldn't be so good if you're a light sleeper, quite noisy area. Overall just what we needed after our girls night out on the town! :)

Very small, basic rooms (couldn't swing a cat in the bathroom). OK for a stopover which was the purpose for our stay. Loved the building though - lots of character. Good cheap breakfast. Friendly staff. Would stay again if only a stopover

Location, it's definitely worth staying, so accessible to all amenties!!. For our requirement it was great price and would recommend it for those that are looking for something cheap and still be able to see much of the wellington city sites get without the taxi fares! Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would stay there again.
