Staff very friendly and pleasant. Cleanliness could be better in the bathroom, hair in sink and bath and around edge of floor. Furniture old fashioned but comfortable. Brilliant location within walking distance to most places in the city. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was located just 5 minutes from O'Connell Street making it a great location. This combined with the price made it the perfect choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and extremely comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family

Around the corner from O'Connell Street, so easy to get almost anywhere in Dublin, but don't forget to close the window it can be noisy outside in the night. Bathroom not that huge, so no space for more people to use at the same time - if you have young children - a young couple might find that good though! Breakfast available with discount from reception where a voucher is issued - don't walk up in the morning. Bar/restaurant available again basic but good value.

The breakfast was expensive, and the front desk staff was often MIA, and the Internet access was only in the public areas, and the discounted parking was too far from the hotel for easy carriage of baggage, but the location near Parnell Square couldn't be more convenient for learning about Dublin, and the room was clean and comfortable, and locals patronize the bar.

Honestly I liked this place. For the value it was much better than expected. I paid more for a hotel in London that wasn't half as nice as this. I only mention the location since most people I met traveling in Ireland wanted to stay closer to Temple. While a 10-15 minute walk it isn't far, some people may balk at it. That said I liked the place. The food at the bar/restaurant was good, though they could use better beer selection, but I'm picky.

A budget hotel in a good location. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We only stayed for 1 night and arrived late so we didnt have much experience of a longer term stay. We had some food in the bar and I couldnt recommend the pizza highly enough, was gorgeous! Unfortunately, there is only 1 pillow per person in a double bed, and they are extremely narrow, did not have the best night's sleep due to this, and also the extreme heat througout the hotel was sweltering, we had to sleep with the window open, in February! Overall, we would consider staying here again, most likely only for very short visit's.

good value stayed one night room spacious no major problems. some noise from traffic and pedestrians at front of hotel but you are more or less in O connell st. Directions easy when you know (Straight up O connell st past the metal spike keeping on the right past the Savoy Cinema about 2 to 3 hundred yards further you will see a nice church on your left, the hotel is opposite that on the right hand side just down Great Denmark Street

It was hard to find. The best way is to go straight up O'Connell street and pass the statue then go right at the lights and the hotel is 50yds on your right. It is within easy walking distance of most places. The bar is very good.I would certainly stay there again. The room did not include breakfast which i had to pay separately for but other than that Its an ideal location for a good price.

This hotel is well situated for sightseeing in Dublin being only a short walk from O'Connell Street. Staff were friendly & helpful, the rooms were clean and provided for all needs. Weather was mild for november and the heating was on. We turned off the radiator in the room at the start of our visit but the room remained quite warm throughout our 3 night stay. I think there were hot water pipes boxed in along the wall causing this. The only real minus was the hotel over the road which sold cheap drinks and drew a rather rowdy crowd who could be quite noisy during the early hours of the morning. If I returned I'd ask if there are rooms available that are not on the front We paid for breakfast which was buffet style. Although plentiful the hot food was rarely that warm and there was no alternative to scrambled eggs which was disappointing.

Very helpful staff especially when our luggage hadn't arrived for three days. Constant hassling to the airport by them finally got results.

Given the room rates charged, guests shud be provided basic breakfast atleast. Internet is very costly to use. Otherwise, no complaints.

Large rooms, friendly staff but carpets in room never hoovered around the edges so quite dusty. Great location for sight seeing. Only bad point is if your room faces over the front, you will be kept awake by Barrys hotel/lap dancing club across the road until 3/4am.

The hotel is in need of refurbishment. I guess that is why the prices are good being right in the city centre. We were on the 3rd floor and the lift was out of order for 2 days. I probably would not stay there again. I would rather pay more for a comfortable hotel.

Pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was, particularly the breakfast room and bar, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Only one (very minor) negative point to mention: the bathroom basin taps, which are the "push on, automatic off" variety, were over-powerful and consequently shot water straight out of the basin and down our fronts. An avoidance stance is recommended - forewarned is forearmed. Having perfected the stance, however, this would not put me off staying there again.

The room was quite large and the staff was very friendly. The location was a little far from any attractions, but was nice because it was quiet. I would definitely recommend staying here if you don't mind taking a cab home from the bars.
