The Beach Negombo Guest Reviews
We were given a ground floor room which was dark and smelled damp. Apparently all the ground floor rooms facing the road were the same. We refused to stay on the ground floor and were transferred to a room on the 1st floor,overlooking the road which was slightly better. <br><br>The hotel was quite full and does have a good reputation, but were I to recommend it to a friend I would ask them to make sure they reserved a room with a sea view as these rooms were brighter and much quieter. During our stay we were never able to obtain any pool towels although they were left in the rooms of some guests. We stayed half board and were charged $123 per night. <br><br>The food selection was very good. The pool areas and bars were also good. After our initial disappointment with the room we enjoyed our stay.

We were totally satisfied with everything. This is a wonderful hotel, the food and evreything is very recommendable.

No TV in room, but who needs one on vacation anyway. The food is passable, but is too bland to reflect the island itself.
