We enjoyed our short stay at the Balé immensely. The pool was just the place to try out the new under water camera and the views from our terrace were incredible. The terraced gardens were beautifully laid out and very well maintained. The restaurant presented some imaginative and well cooked fusion-type dishes. The hot-stone treatment at the Spa is a must!

The rooms are amazing. Very modern design. Great outside area with incredible private pool, outside "bed", bar, and even your own little patch of grass! Will definitely return and spend more time if I can afford it!

We truly loved our stay at The Balé. So much so that we extended our stay for another four days. It is definitely the most beautiful hotel that we have ever stayed at. The privacy of your own pavilion makes you feel as if you are not actually in a hotel. But you do have excellent, very personal and attentive service readily available for you 24 hours a day. The Spa is wonderful and so relaxing: open air with very tranquil music. The only disappointment was that the hotel does not have its own beach yet. There is a public beach just 10min walking distance away, but since it is public it is definitely a somewhat rude awakening from the beautiful eclectic tranquillity that the hotel provides.<br><br> But we were told that The Balé is working on finding their own beach and I am sure once they do it will be just as special and stylish as the beautiful hotel itself. So we are definitely coming back. And we are already looking forward to it!!

The villa is gorgeous. Done in a very modern, minimalist style. Quite different from traditional balinese architecture. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Choice of food is limited, but tasty. Breakfast is particularly good, be sure to try the entire menu. Lemon pancakes yummy...

All private pavilions with day beds outside of the pavilions which is great for relaxation. Staff is very friendly and pleasant. The hotel layout is modern and very tastefully decorated.
