Uthai Thani Climate
The climate in Uthai Thani is typical of central Thailand, which is tropical for the whole year. The average high temperature reaches 35°C from February to May, while during the rainy season, from July to November, temperatures can be as high as 25 to 30°C, though it can rain for long periods. The best time to visit the region is from December to April, during the dry season.
Getting There & Around
From Bangkok, you can drive to Uthai Thani in around 2.5 hours via Highway 32 to Tha Nam Oi, and then taking road 333. You can also get buses from Mo Chit, which take around three hours.
In this fairly rural region of Thailand, the songthaew (a kind of truck with two opposite bench seats) is a common means of transport in Uthai Thani. There are also buses going between the major populated areas of the region.
