Getting There and Around
Visitors will fly into Bangkok International Airport and travel from there to Ubon Ratchathani. There are trains or buses that will take you to the province. You may also choose to rent a car and drive yourself.
Once in Ubon, there are small buses called sawngthaew and you can get a free map of the routes. Tuk tuks abound and are only a bit more expensive. Mountain bikes are also available for rent.
