Chonburi Climate
Chonburi enjoys a tropical climate and it’s warm year round, with temperatures rising up to 35°C in the summer. Temperatures drop to a more comfortable average of around 27°C during the winter months from November to March. Chonburi is monsoonal, so the summer months see high rainfall. The best time to visit is from September to March for ideal weather conditions.
Getting There & Around
Chonburi has two airports in close range: Sattahip Airport (QHI) and Bang Phra Airport, which services flights from Thailand and foreign destinations. Buses from Bangkok are another convenient way to reach the city.
Getting around Chonburi is easy to do by making use of the Baht buses and motorbikes, which abound in the city. International licenses are not required to drive in this part of the world, so hiring a vehicle is also an option.
