We had to move every night to a different room due to major flooding from burst pipe ( the major floods came down on top of me when I was in the bathroom, through the light fixtures above the sinks, so it was a real electrical safety hazard.); other room's lights not functioning, TV not working, sofa beds that didn't convert properly to bed when that was a prime req't.that I had written to them in email beforehand; and the French doors not able to close properly which resulted in sudden torrents of wind knocking the doors open every few minutes whilst sending everything flying inside the room. Leaking pipes left bathrobes & my items in bathroom all wet. I had to then walk around Paris in wet socks on a rainy day, giving me a bad cold. Although we had to move to different rooms each day, which caused long delays & disruption to our Paris visits & tours, the Hotel Mg't. did not agree to refund any of our pre-paid room payments ...although their rooms were very expensive to start with ( but they didn't charge for one glass of wine at the bar, nor a £30 room supplement to view the Eiffel Tower which was in a rainy cloud all of the weekend anyway....so that wasn't a big help!). Their main floor restaurant was closed for the whole New Year weekend, which was a real shame, and they didn't have a pianist for their piano bar either. Thus, we had to go outside in wet socks to eat & drink on NY weekend. We had booked this hotel for its views from itsTerrace Cafe on the 7th floor, but that was closed for the New Year The Terass Mgr, offered to upgrade us on a future visit as compensation, but that is not a viable offer to us! We will not be returning there again for a visit!! Thus, we would now appreciate receiving a proper, substantial, refund from your Agency which booked us into this hotel. Kindly explain the procedure to us by return email immediately, before we contact VISA

Very nice comfortable friendly hotel with some stylishly decorated rooms. Other rooms that have not been refurbished are not so comfortable. Only complaint I have ever had to make was because my room door was left slightly open by the maid after it was cleaned. Luckily nothing was taken, but this should not have happened.
