An average hotel, a short walk uphill to the main road and the tram stop near the Grand Bazarre, or you could walk about ten minutes along the street to a main intersection. The breakfast room was not on the roof as pictured on the web page, the roof top was being renovated, also the free wifi service did not work the whole time I was there.

We paid TL25 for this shuttle service after being coaxed by the staff. we regret taking this shuttle. i believe each and everybody else on that shuttle felt the same way. The shuttle service dumped our bags and arranged them in such a way that my new bag ( which i bought at grand bazar ) was broken. ( urrrghh) and they actually picked up another 10 to 12 other passengers at OTHER hotels around the busy sultanahmet area and everyone was totally unhappy and nervous coz we only reached the airport around 6 pm ( when most of our flights were at 7 pm!!!). The driver sped like being chased in a movie!! So NEVER EVER TAKE THE SHUTTLE AIRPORT RECOMMENDED BY YOUR HOTEL. Take the taxi for an extra TL5 and you get a personalised and whole car for yourself.

Location is excellent if you want internet and call shops near hotel. Also many resturants nearby. Walk to beyazid (grand bazaar) is up hill 5 mins and from there you can pretty much get anywhere in Istanbul with trains/metro/buses. Price is good. Rooms are simple, basically you get what you pay for. Staff is friendly in general, cant help much with directions to somewhere.

Even though I booked a double room I have been given a twin room for one night that too in smoking area and managed to give me a double room for rest of the nights. Though I had a bitter time on first day, it was fine for rest of the days. Breakfast is good. Wireless access is available but is slow. Room condition is good and bathroom is average. Location wise, its good, 10 mins walk to sultanahmet area.
