Charming guest house with lovely surrondings, great breakfast and spot on location. Host was very helpful and spoke excellent English

The Hotel was beautiful and suited the little town wonderfully, adding to the whole experience of being in bayeux. The English speaking staff member was a little on the unfriendly side however helpful none the less and did the two things i asked him to do promptly.

Hotel Tardif is not a traditional hotel. It is more typical of a bed and breakfast, with privacy. The rooms are large and beautiful, and the hotel is charming. Anthony, the manager, is pleasant, helpful, and not intrusive. The location is perfect. If you are looking for a more traditional hotel, with phone service between rooms, separate tables for morning breakfast, a front desk, manned with someone to greet you, and hand you a key, hotel Tardif will not meet your needs. Bayeux is charming, and the hotel is around the corner from the cathedral, and the charming streets and shops.
