My room was fine, with good air conditioning. I would have appreciated a bit of sitting area with a chair, though. Bathroom was fairly large with bath. Swimming pool was pleasant and very warm. The small gym had good equipment but no air conditioning - surprising in view of the climate. Unfortunately, I found the food to be generally poor and lacking spice and seasoning. The Indian buffet dinner was very poor quality. The only bright spot was pizzas cooked to order in a wood-fired oven. The free airport shuttle was very useful but appeared to run as required not at set intervals. It did not turn up for the time I had booked it and had to be requested again specially.

Despite cyclone Evan, the hotel provided running water and electricity. Great service! During our check in time, the staff member was on training therefore the service was not too great. On our final check out, a male reception staff member showed high level of customer service. Good work Tanoa Team!

This hotel definitely served it purpose. It was nice and felt like a resort, even though I didn't take part in many of the amenities; bar, pool, etc. The staff was very nice and helpful, along with the tour coordinator. The room wasn't bad either, but the mattress could be firmer and the pillows could be softer. I didn't get much sleep because my neck and back would be hurting. Cyclone Evan came through the morning of the 17th so I was stuck in the hotel. I understand business is business, but give people some discounts when they are forced to stay in your hotel. I had snacks in my room, but needed a full meal so I had to pay $28 for the buffet that only offered pasta, 2 types of pasta sauce, water, bread, and peas. Then I racked up $120 worth of phone calls during that time because I had to call the airport, airline, rental car company, and my companies travel company to get my travel plans situated. How about half price calls during natural disasters?

Dinner was very impressive, staff very warm & friendly. Easy walk to town. Rooms good enough - suited a short work trip brilliantly.

I loved that the Tanoa was tucked away ... I found it beautiful & relaxing ... The staff I found is what made my trip so enjoyable ... They were friendly, helpful & always with a smile ... It didn't hurt that the setting was picture perfect ...

An old "regular" for overnighting in Fiji close to Nadi Airport, prior to catching an early outbound flight the next morning. The airport is very close. The hotel provides a mini-bus shuttle service from the hotel to the airport - though from the airport to the hotel it is easier to take a taxi (on demand and easier to find). Rooms are adequate. A pleasant pool-side bar, and reasonable meals in the restaurant.

The hotel was very good and service was wonderful! Things were pretty pricy compared to things you could bar in town though and hotel rooms would good, but floor mats in the washroom and doorway would help keep the floor clean when rooms are in use.

Close to the airport with a free shuttle service. The tour desk was extremely helpful. We stayed in the new area of the resort in an executive room with a lovely king size bed. We had a power outage which was rectified within 10 minutes of us reporting it. Very nice place to stay at affordable rates. highly recommended.

Probably the best value for accommodation near Nadi airport. The only problem I have found is that the internet is slow and unreliable.

People at the front desk and also the table servers were very friendly and loved them all. The grounds were beautiful and the eating facilities were excellent. We really felt we had scored big on this one.

Found the location, staff and environment to be excellent. Did find the rooms a little sparse, ie some photos/pictures on the walls could add to the aesthetics. Also, internet access would be an advatage. We noted that the television service is going to be improved, and this will be an improvements since the only channels we could get were NBC and CNN. Overall, very pleased and will continue to ustilise this hotel when in Nadi.
