Good size room. All expected facilities. Opening windows and good a/c. Would be a good choice apart from one drawback. The hike up the hill from Shinagawa station. Fine if you have little or no luggage but take a taxi if you do.

Not quite as close to Shinagawa station as the much bigger Prince Hotel but with bigger rooms and free internet at slightly lower price.

This hotel looks old and needs a thorough renovation. Rooms are too small with a very small walking space between the beds and the TV cabinet. Breakfast is unimpressive with very limited choices. Compared to the surrounding Prince chain of hotels, Takanawa Tobu Hotel is located further uphill. It is difficult for someone coming from Shinagawa Station to drag luggage uphill on a rough, bitumen-paved walkway.
