Location
Taj Airport Garden is situated in the midst of a 38-acre coconut plantation bordering the famous Negombo Lagoon, which is 7 kilometres from the Bandaranaike International Airport. Other attractions of this place include the Llelama - a fish market, Muthurajawela, St. Sebastian's Church, old Portuguese and Dutch houses as well as administrative buildings.

Room we booked was not available but staff were very helpful and gave four of us a free meal with two executive rooms.

Does not provide hotel transfers from airport

The best two things about this hotel are its proximity to the airport and the absence of the usual noise you find in almost every place in Sri Lanka.

Close to air-port is the best with this hotel. We got a room on 2nd floor with bad view. Breakfast was included in the price, but it was impossibel to get anything to eat before 6 o´clock and we had to leave the hotel at 5:30 because of an early flight.

We were very happy with the facilities and the service. Our one complaint is that our friend who is Sri Lankan who was responsible for us choosing this hotel was not permitted to join us for a swim (even after offering to buy a ticket) due to a recent policy change by the hotel. We have raised this matter with the hotel and will not use this hotel until they change this rule.
