Cingjing Climate

The weather is generally mild from summer to winter in Nantou County. The temperatures range between 60°F and 73°F (16°C and 23°C) in the months of May through September, and evening temperatures, especially in the mountains, can get quite chilly. Although the mountains provide cover from major storms, Cingjing still experiences rainfall.

Getting There & Around

The best way to reach Cingjing is by flying into Taipei. From Taipei, there are bus services that will bring visitors south into the area. Rental cars are also available at the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.

Upon arrival in Cingjing, travellers can walk about or rent a car to see the area. Practically everything is within walking distance on the Veterans Farm, although a rental car will be needed if staying elsewhere.
