Tails Of Blackheath Guesthouse Guest Reviews
This place looks much nicer on the internet than it actually is in the flesh. The "guesthouse" is actually an Indian restaurant with rooms attached and the word "luxury" is very misleading. If you're bothered by train noise, then this is definitely a downside - Tails is situated across the road from the train track and four freight trains went through during the night, shaking the whole place! Large hole in the wall in bedroom, ineffective fly screen in the bathroom (bugs everywhere, used draught excluder to plug up the gap) and the place generally didn't feel very secure. I'm sure there is far better accommodation out there for this price ($183 a night) - don't waste your money, you'll be very disappointed.

Friendly, charming, accommodating service. Excellent restaurant attached to the guest house - one of the best meal I've head for months. Rooms a tad on the cozy side but equipped with luxurious linen and toiletries. Would definitely stay again and recommended.

Comfortable rooms in a beautiful surrounding. Easy to get to, great cafe on site. Friendly staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
