Tahiti Airport Motel is a convenient stopover as it is situated at a walk able distance to Tahiti Faaa International Airport. This motel is an ideal base for exploring Tahiti. Tahiti Motel offers panoramic views over the lagoon and the Moorea Island. Papeete town located nearby can be explored. The bustling market area, home to many shops and restaurants is a must visit place. Fautaua Waterfall is considered to be the tallest waterfall in the world is worth seeing.

We spent only 5 hours at the hotel during a brief overnight stopover. It's really great for what we needed- got a few hours sleep in a super clean and comfy bed, nice bathroom with a great shower and a perfect French breakfast of fresh baguette and croissant, juice and coffee at 5:30 am. We took a taxi to the hotel ($25 US) which was worth it since we had luggage and are a family, but we walked back in the am as it is so close and downhill. It's clean, the service was courteous, and it's as close as you can get to the airport- met our expectations.

This motel is just across from the airport. It was clean and the continental breakfast was to die for. Cereal, juice, lovely french pastry, crunchy french bread, jam, any kind of coffee or chocolate, milk, butter. Couldn't eat it all. It is a perfect one night hotel before leaving to go home. OK, there are drawbacks, no elevator and sits on a steep hill so you must lug luggage up the hill or stairs or have your cab drop your luggage at the top of the hill before taking you down to reception. Also, you cannot walk across the street to airport due to the hill so do need a cab to drive you over to airport, not too bad though. The price is excellent, you will pay $200 US in town for something not so nice with no breakfast.

Well, all of Tahiti is expensive, hence the rating.... as it's about twice the price one would normally pay for such. The only gripe(s) ~ being woken by the sound of running water through the pipes at 4.00am (but I did manage to go back to sleep) ~ no butter for the bread, which one could expect to have at breakfast, I'd have thought. I'm also unimpressed at the planet footprint of using disposable plates and cutlery..... landfill, non recyclable, not a green image! How hard is it to wash china and stainless steel?

Very basic hotel. Expensive for what it offers. Walking distance from airport, but rather a roundabout way. No character or charm . Looks impressive from the airport, but that is about it.
