Location
Tryp Chamartin is set next to Paseo de la Castellana and Chamartin Train Station in Madrid, less than 10 kilometres from Madrid Airport. Tourists to learn more about the heritage-rich metropolitan through the exhibits at Museo del Prado and Museo Centro de Arte Reina Sofia.

Hotel information about meal times, facilities etc in a very small pamphlet not immediately obvious. Hotel is next to a dusty building site. Not handicapped friendly - elevators do not serve reception desk floor and the road is blocked off.

Excellent location (those who need directions, just head towards Charmatin metro station - its opposite the station). Parking is not a problem, as although the hotel has it's own parking, you will find plenty of spots around the hotel, especially if you park on the weekend (when blue and green spots are free) or when you park at quieter times of the day (find spots under the roadway bridge usually used by commuters using the metro during the week). Great rooms, and the buffet breakfast is extremely well decked out, thus good value for the 9 Euro charge.
