loved our stay but got stung $50 for putting personal items in the mini bar. managed to have this reversed after some lengthy discussions. otherwise, there is a lot to like. staff more friendly in person than over the phone.

Very nice hotel with nice pool. But check-in line was way too long, and only 2 people were at the front desk.

Great!! The only downside is that I wish it were closer to the middle of the strip. A little too far so we took lots of cabs. Less for younger clubbers and more for couples and families.

This is my second time staying at The Hotel and I was not disappointed. I brought a couple of girls who had never been to Vegas before and they were blown away by what you get for your money in Vegas. We had a 2 queen bed suite overlooking the pool. I tried to get a strip view but they were booked for CES. The front desk person did her best to get us the best room available on floor 33 so we had a nice view. The amenities are terrific love that everything even the toilet paper is referred to as "the tp!" Drinks at the Mix Lounge more than made up for not having a strip view in the room. Besides we were asleep when we were in the room and the beds were so comfortable!

What you get with this wonderful 5-star hotel is A LOT! Price was superb! Better than direct booking! For that little money you are getting a huge room (over 500 square feet) or a suite (over 600 square feet suite, hotel has mostly suites), the design is beautiful contemporary with every possible amenity inside the room and bathroom, 2 huge closets with robes, slippers; huge ceilings and windows! The customer services is superb - never an issue. Got an early check-in based upon availability (11am instead of 3pm). Food is delicious - loved their breakfast/lunch place - omelets are wonderful, coffee is one of the best I've had.. Oh and try their Blue Crab pouched egg on top Brioche. I absolutely love their Casino - clean and sharp-looking, contemporary, but very chic! I love their machines and the way everything is setup. Whether you are winning or loosing, you seem to have fun, which is very important. Casino customer service also gave me great food comps and credit for stay - never hurts to ask, so please ask before checking out! Yes - there are other wonderful hotels/casinos, but not for this money and for this kind of amenities/size of space. I will surely be coming back again to this place.

The Hotel proved to be a restful getaway to visit with friends and enjoy both quiet time and the hustle and bustle of the town.

The Hotel was a very nice, however the beds weren't the most comfortable and there was some weird noise in the walls that would keep you awake. You could also hear lots of noise from the road, they could have had a little better insulation. The staff was great, as I talked with them they were very helpful and didn't mind me stopping them from getting their work done.

I wrote a great detailed review for this hotel but it kept being rejected for inflammatory language - There was none. We were quite happy. It's a nice upper scale hotel at the mandalay bay property.

Our stay at the Mandalay Bay was full of surprises. We were travelling with two children and thought that the suites at the Mandalay Bay would be perfect for our party of 4. Surprise, when we arrived we learned that the couches are not fold out couches so we had to settle for a double bed room and my wife and I had no privacy. The entire hotel itself is unpleasantly dark and the interior decor of the rooms is no different. If you are promised the buffet as part of a perk to stay at the hotel--beware. THe line is around the building up to an hour and the waitresses are like watchdogs who refused to allow me to leave with a pastry. If you want a cup of coffee that you self make in your room, the charge is $5. The bathub is plasticy even though it is big and the entire feeling of this hotel is that it hasn't been updated in years. Also, location wise this is at the top of the strip--so its a bit of a hassle to go anywhere else. Stay away or get a better value on the strip.

We requsted non-smoking room but we can smell the smoke in the bathroom everyday. Housekeeping needs imporvement where we found a clump of hair on the floor when we checked in and our room was not cleaned until we had had to raise a stink after 3:30PM everyday. In addition, the resort fee of $20 a day plus 12% tax was supposed to include wireless, gym, internet, etc but we did not get any of those ammenities. The gym was $15 a day per person and there was a charge for wireless. I feel like I did not get what I paid for and the front desk folks were rude.

THEhotel was lovely. The room was ample in size, able to fit a family of four. We did need to keep reminding the front desk/housekeeping department to clean the room, as I think they forgot about us. However, we felt heard, and the room got serviced. There was no charge for a roll away bed (for our 9 yr old). They sent an extra set of sheets up for the sofa which my 8 year old slept on. The location was fair...as we spent a lot of time trying to get to the "arcades" and good shopping areas. The buffets were fair. I am not a huge fan of buffets (feel like cattle being moved around and the germ factor), but the kids loved the breakfast buffet that came with the room.

Stayed at this hotel while participating in the Rock N Roll Marathon. So glad we stayed here because the hotel was the mark for the start and finish line. There were 44,000 people running the race and it was a cluster to get anywhere. If you are running the race next year...definitely stay at this hotel. The hotel was nice, 2 great night clubs. This was the first time I was in Vegas and did not take a cab or go out to different hotels. We seemed to find a lot of fun at this hotel and never felt like we needed to find entertainment. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We stayed in the suite and loved having 2 bathrooms. Staff was good and everything went smooth. The price was great! We purchased a package and were very happy with the price!

Overall, the price was very reasonable, however, There is a $4 per cup "private bar charge" for using the in-room coffee maker. That would not be so bad if the coffee maker worked, but it was broken. Called and reported issue, but no action by staff. Re-reported the problem that nite after noting that no one serviced the broken coffee maching, and requested I NOT be charged for the failed coffee attempt, which was assured would be corrected. I was still billed for the coffee. (they rubbed salt in the opened wound) Your mileage may vary.
