Swissotel Tallinn Guest Reviews
The Swissotel Tallinn is a wonderful hotel. Easy walk to Old town and Toompea or to the tram that takes you to the Kumu Museum and Kadriorg Palace. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Everyone spoke English. Had a great time in the bar on the top floor and the food was just as incredible as the panorama. Reindeer Tenderloin with sweetbreads, scallops with a bacon foam and a complimentary mushroom cappuccino and sorbets. I made good use of the pool and sauna in the evenings as well. This hotel has everything I was looking for to make a trip to old Europe even more enjoyable.

We where very pleased when staying at Swissotel. Very nice hotel. The pictures don't lye. We felt like princesses. (Me and my 15 year old daughter stayed) If you wan't to use the services at the Amrita Spa at the hotell, you should book in advance. We didn't and therefore we didn't get the spa treatment we wanted. (Sauna, swimmingpool and training facilities are always open) You can see througt the wall betweeen the bedroom and the bathroom. If you don't feel comfortable with using the toilet and knowing the other person in the bedroom can see you (they can see shadows and movement) this is not the hotel for you. If you enjoy a good cup of coffee while looking at the spectacular view, this is the hotel for you. You got your own espresso machine :-) The location of the hotel is perfect. Close to shoppingcentre and close to the old town. Visiting the restaurant at the top floor is a must, food is delicious, and so is the service. For us who are used to western prizes, this is a bargain.

The Swissotel Tallinn was so good I went back for a long weekend within two months of my initial trip to Tallinn. A harbour view room, on the 25th floor on both occasions - a magical experience. And though I've indicated merely good for service and location the former is simply due to there being no (free) facility to merely check in for flights and print boarding cards, and the latter because the hotel is perhaps a 10 minute walk from the Viru Gate - the 'main' entrance to the Old Town. Otherwise, service, prices, the restaurant on the 30th floor, the room, were simply excellent. I'm almost loathe to receommend it so stronlgy unless prices go up - and I can't wait to go back! Tallinn is a wonderful place, and though ultra modern, the Swissotel compliments it very nicely. Very highly recommended.
