Swissotel Merchant Court Hotel Singapore Guest Reviews
From check-in to check-out, staff were very responsive to all requests, above & beyond what's normally expected given past experiences in hotels in singapore.

Honestly - from the start of the visit until the end, I was quite happy with the service. Especially in comparison to hotels in Singapore, this one really stood out. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

I looked at many properties and have stayed in many 5 star properties in Singapore but this was a real deal, excellent service, fair prices and the best location on the Quay. Even when it was raining one could still walk under covered areas and enjoy all the shops and restaurants. It is also right adjacent to China town where bargins and street food abound. I only had one challenge and that was my room was above some construction. However, when I called the Manager he quickly moved me to a quite room and even upgraded me to a newly refurbished room with flat screen TV, the new decor, and the new amenities which included a brew a cup coffee machine. I have always liked Swiss Hotel properties and this is one of the best. You won't go wrong. Oh yes, forgot to mention the 24 hour fitness and the large beautiful pool. It is one of the best facilities ever and the Blue Potato restaurant by the pool is an award winning restaurant that should not be thought of as just a place to have a bite by the pool. It is one of the few places I have ever seen with a full onsight open grill kitchen with 2 chefs preparing fresh asian and American dishes.

Hotel reception did not have the reservation so followed a 40 minute check in to a room we had not specified. One doesn't need this after a thirteen hour journey. The best thing is it's location , adjacent to Clarke Quay and a myriad of top riverside eating places. The decor in the room was depressing, the bathroom was clean but twenty years past refurbishment date. Usual furniture , telly, mini bar, useful safe . Very powerful aircon.

Loved the location of this hotel .. out the door and Clarke Quay was there and China Town and Marine Bay a short walk. Would have liked to been allowed to stay late in room as had a midnight flight but they did provide luggage storage and shower facilities if needed.
