Vaxjo Climate

Vaxjo has four distinct seasons, with warm summers and snowy winters. The summer months of June and July are considered the best times of the year to visit, with average daily temperatures of 14°C and reaching up to 30°C in the daytime. Daily temperature averages drop to 5°C in October, and February is the coldest month with average daily temperatures dropping to -4°C. Daytime hours are long during the summer and short in the winter.

Getting There & Around

Most Vaxjo visitors arrive by car or train. There are direct trains from Stockholm, Malmo, Gothenberg and Copenhagen. Vaxjo is a small village, and your feet will be all you need to get around, although there are public buses available as well. There are also car and bicycle hires in the city to travel to the sites in the surrounding countryside.
