Lidingo Climate
Lidingo experiences a cooler climate all year, with temperatures at 25ºC during the summer months, May through August. Autumn and spring last for a short time period, only for a couple of months. During the winter months, November through March, the island receives very heavy snowfall and the surrounding Baltic Sea gets covered by thick sheets of ice.
Getting There & Around
Lidingo can be reached from Stockholm mainland by train, car or bus. The airports which are located nearby are Bromma, Arno and Arlanda.
Most tourists prefer to explore the island on a rental motorbike, bicycle or on foot. Rental cars and taxis are the best modes of transport if you want to travel in luxury. The most economical way to travel to nearby islands is by ferry.
