Getting There & Around
Falun is typically reached by road or rail. However, by air, visitors either come into Stockholm or Borlange. Many fly to Borlange, as it is only 20 minutes away, but flights are limited. Those coming from more international destinations usually travel the distance from Stockholm to the town. There are trains, rental cars and buses available from the airports for visitors.
There are buses, bikes and taxis available to traverse Falun. Buses are provided by Dalatrafik and have regularly scheduled daily routes throughout the town.
