Prior to booking, I called the hotel and asked if there was a microwave and refrigerator in the room and I was told that there is one in every room. Upon arrival, I was given a room on the second floor. I was traveling with two small dogs and I asked for a room on the first floor , if possible. I was told that there would be a $10. a night fee for a first floor. When asked why, I was told that because I booked with Orbitz, I was only allowed a second floor. I paid the difference and went to my room, to find that there was no refrigerator and microwave. I called the front desk and was told that I would have to pay an extra fee for those items. I upgraded to a room with those amenities. The only one available was a smoking room and I asked if it smelled and was told no, it did. I was also told that it was the only one available, but the parking lot was almost empty, so I know that was a false statement. This hotel does not honor what it puts on it's website, nor does it honor what the staff says is available, so calling in advance, prior to booking, was a waste of time. I was traveling with a friend and the room, although had two beds, only had enough towels for one person. I was only there for two days, but my experience with Sure 8 left a bad taste in my mouth and I will never book with them again .
