Super 8 Motel Austin Airport North Guest Reviews
This hotel is a "keeper". It is up-to-date in every way and has a larger breakfast and breakfast room than most medium-priced lodgings. They even have dessert in the lobby every night from 6-9. The staff is friendly and unusually helpful. If we get the opportunity to come back to Austin, we'd gladly stay here again.

This motel is somewhat isolated -- no restaurants and/or stores nearby, but it's close to where my daughter lives, so it suited us. We appreciated the complimentary full-variety breakfast and use of computers and mini-store. The rooms were very clean and spacious and comfortable, the staff very friendly, and housecleaning excellent.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good: toast, cereal, waffles, eggs, bacon and mini burgers. No sausages. They also had a small library and a DVD collection. The downside is its location. Downtown is a 10 minutes drive. Also, even though the bed sheets were clean, they felt cheap ( as in a little rough). The pillows were fine.

I chose this hotel based on good review and price but never expected that it would turn out to be such a great experience! Everything was very clean and there were personal touches everywhere (public and private areas) that showed the owners were trying to make it a special place-like naming the various floors and suites, etc. I've never seen so many TV's-strategically placed by the elevators on each floor and even in the elevator! They not only had a special movie channel playing a recent movie over and over but they also had DVD players in the rooms and had DVD's available to check out for free! The bed was very comfy (not too hard and not too soft) with a variety of pillows to choose from. The breakfast was also exceptional. They not only offered the make-your-own-waffles, in addition to the standard cereal, toast, bagels, muffins, yoghurt, etc., but they also had peanut butter, fruit cups, two types of eggs, bacon & sausage biscuits and more. I really liked that they offered mini sizes on many of the items like bagels, fruit cups, muffins, etc. because that way I could try a variety of items without wasting a lot of food and consuming too many calories. Since the hotel was 100% non-smoking and I was glad to note that they seemed to take very seriously) I thought it was very nice that they had provided a little "Smoker's Heaven" gazebo out back for people who need it. They also had a couple of video game systems for use but we didn't have time to play so I'm not sure if they were Wii or Xbox but something like that. A mini "store" offered snacks and other stuff for sale but when my husband realized he had forgotten his toothbrush, they happily provided us with a complimentary replacement. Overall we were both incredibly impressed by this nice little hotel that was both affordable and enjoyable and have already recommended it to several friends.
