Super 8 Hotel Phoenix North Guest Reviews
Super 8 was reasonably priced however they advertised a jacuzzi but, it was not available. Even though I had a smoking room, the walls and floor of the room were filthy. Yellow staines in the bathroom and the toilet was dirty on the outside rim. I would not recommend this hotel to friends unless they cleaned it top to bottom after every checkout.

Would have liked some coffee in the room, but the breakfast was OK and the Waffle Shop was near.

I found it very accommodating. I spent almost 3 weeks here and although I would have preferred the single king room I ordered online I did not expect the microwave or the mini fridge. I also did not expect the laundry room nor the quality of the free continental breakfast. The location is great-- it's pretty much 15 minutes to anywhere except south & east of the 60 (you should probably stay on those sides if that is where your business/fun is based) To the east there's a "W" superstore and a gas station w/ as close to the lowest price around--within 4 cents-- to fill your tank get whatever you might need. This side is a lower class--not ghetto by any means--neighborhood and you will encounter a few "characters" here and there. To the west the neighborhoods improve w/ each block you drive and there are plenty good options for eating/shopping/whatever yo want. I suggest the Valle Luna---< a mile away--at happy hour for fantastic chicken wing special and more--good food all around. Even though you "may" encounter a "character" or two on motel property there is an overall safe feeling--not that you'd leave anything unlocked but you're not going to lose any sleep worrying. Except for the guy who works the late night/early morning shift-- who doesn't have much personality--and the black woman--who can be a little short once in a while--the whole staff was VERY friendly, approachable, and helpful. Other than that like I said--It's a Motel not a Hotel--honestly what did you expect? Oh and don't forget to gook online in advance--I found they use the same data base for booking as the front desk--and you WILL save up to 50% off the standard rate--maybe even more.
