Super 8 Austin University / Downtown Area Hotel Guest Reviews
My only disappointment was to discover that the hotel was not that close to the Austin Downtown/University area. Having lived in Austin, TX four years prior to relocating to Albuquerque, NM, the area of the hotel would better be described as "Central" Austin. Prior to actually "booking" the hotel, I had no way of discerning how close the hotel would be to the Austin Captial Metro bus routes. The bus routes are generally very accessible in the Austin "Downtown/University" vicinity. As it turned out, I experienced quite a walk to and from the hotel from the closest bus stop.

don"t get a room by the stairs, you hear everything and everyone looks in your window. Bathroom very tiny. Beds and pillows were great! Must eat Hotel breakfast in lobby not in room :(

Parking here is a little tight, but staff was very friendly and quick - less than 3 minutes to check-in. Good job folks!

It's a typically low cost motel.. Biggest problem is noisy youngster after mid night, after 2am even. Then cars leaving at 6/7 in the morning.
