day 1 - Checked into room beside building work tried to rest in the afternoon awoken by rocus builders having an arguement and power tools. Called front desk for room change and told there was no rooms. day 2- Awoken by power tools and banging at 8 am. so room is a no go area for the day. day 3 Awoken by banging and power tool noise which continued all day. Return to the room to go to bed at 10pm. Building work still continuing. Complained to the front desk at 11 pm. Told the manager would 'sort it out.' 11.40 still kept awake by banging, and power tools. Phoned the front desk again and told that I was not the only one complaining and irrate builders make themself heard passing my room and then continue working. 12.00-1.00 the noise continues. Day4 --Phone front desk relating my night ordeal. Told, someone will call me back in 5 minutes. 1 hour later I recall the front desk again. Asked to go to breakfast first and then I come to be reassigned. Go after breakfast and speak to receptionist who still can not find an alternate room. Speak to manager who finds a room and advises the porter will come in five minute. An hour and an half later after 3 more phone calls a porter comes and re-locates me to a nice quiet room with only one bed.It is now 12.45pm .We needed a twin suite.So I was promised another bed. I finally fell asleep at 3.00pm only to be awaken by some coming to install the bed. I checked out the next day more tired than when I came. I did not have a holiday I had an ordeal.

First the bad: the staff was hit or miss, some were extremely nice and some wouldn't even talk to you. Also, the restaurants are only open on certain days, for instance, if the Italian place is open, the other ones will be closed. There is only a grill and a buffet that is open every day. That being said, they pools are awesome, there are two really nice waterslides that go into a lazy river. The beaches are pretty nice but be careful of sea urchins because there are a LOT. Overall, we had a good time, but if you stay here, please get out and see the REAL Jamaica!

HAD A WONDERFUL TIME! WILL GO BACK AGAIN SOON NICE POOLS AND BEACH, FOOD WAS GOOD.

Never a dull moment. Fun activities provided daily. Provided a variety of food choices. A very clean facility with an awesome ocean view.

the hotel is very clean and inviting......food there where many choices ,however the food could have been better. other than that it was enjoyable. entertainment was good and if you have kids its an ideal place as it is fiiled with lots of actiivities for both kids and teens.
