Sunrise Suites & Resort Guest Reviews
Sunrise Suites Resort is conveniently located for first tine visitors to Key West. The rooms facing West overlook salt marshes but also pick up a lot of noise from the Airport. Your best bet will be to request a room facing East for pool views and less noise. The suites are pleasant, but are lacking in repair of minor issues. Our screen doors to the balcony were without wheels and not secure in their tracks. The patio table top had been severely melted in the middle and a towel hook was falling off the wall in the master bath. Lastly, the equipment in the room was outdated in the fact that there was a VHS Video player rather than a DVD player for watching movies.

Two bedroom two bath condo for a very affordable price.

This was the perfect place to say in Key West for my family. With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms there was plenty of room for my husband, 2 children, and myself to live comfortably for our 3 day, 2 night trip. We were away from all the hustle and bustle of Old Town. The condo was clean and quiet. We had a room that sat apart from the others so noise didn't travel through walls. We could hear chairs scraping on the floor above us. And sorry 202 and 402 for all the slamming doors our first night there. It took awhile to convivnce my children to shut the doors nicely. The full kitchen was great to have, particularly with small children along. We were able to feed them "normal" food and not worry about them starving during the trip since they are not much for any restaurant food, even from the kids meals. My only concern before arriving at the Sunrise Suites was that it was on the opposite side of the island from all of the attractions and I had read that parking could be an issue in the old section of town. The entire Key is only 4 miles wide so you are never really far from any of the tourist sites or beaches. We used our own vehicle to get around instead of renting bicycles or scooters and didn't have a problem with finding a place to park at this time of year. The condo is right next to the airport and we really enjoyed watching the planes take off. I never heard any during the night past 9 pm and the earliest I heard was around 8 am. My family is looking forward to staying at the Sunrise Suites Resorts, our "Keys home", the next time we get to go to Key West.

The hotel was a condo-hotel facility. Some people apparently live there. I stayed in the two bedroom room. The room had two spacious rooms. The master bedroom had a large walk-in closet and its own bathroom. The other bedroom had a normal closet and connecting to the living room bathroom. The room had a balcony that didn't really look out to anywhere, but was nice nonetheless. TVs in every room and in the living room. Plenty of channels. Furthermore, it had a complete kitchen. Many have complained about the furniture, which I find ridiculous. The furniture wasn't new, but I wouldn't complain about it. Everyone in my family seemed very happy with the room; mostly because of the vast space. The pool was nice and there was a small store near-by. The kitchen allows you to buy things at a grocery store and cook it at the room. Plenty of parking too. The hotel is on the opposite side of the part of the island where all the partying goes on, but it's only a twenty buck cab ride to get to that part each way. Next time I stay in Key West, I will stay at this hotel. For the comparable price, it is very worth it. I will be back soon to the sunrise suites.
