Excellent time, out of the way, very clean and lots of space for the vaule

I actually live in New Orleans, and unfortunately, my husband and I's Turkey Day getaway from an aggravating aunt's house turned into a three week stay at this hotel. I love opulence, however, this is no fancy- schmancy place. Yet for the price, the hotel staff was excellent! The three different rooms we stayed in were super clean, and we loved the convenience of the hotel's laundry room and amenities. We would recommend this VERY safe hotel to anyone not looking for fanciness, and would return again without hesitation.

The room and kitchenette were roomy enough but under the beds looked as though a vacuum had never passed over the rug. Had to ask for face cloths and coffee supplies at front desk. Loud fight at 1:30 AM on the floor above us.

rooms are small but they come with a lot and are in very good shape, and make you feel at home. Its located close to the main highway, so its easy to get to places as long as there is no road construction. Its a nice hotel and not too expensive.

The room was so filthy, my husband and I were reluncant to sleep in the bed. We ended up getting our own blankets out of the car to sleep on the bed. The floors, walls and beds were gross. The carpet was all tore up and the room smelled horrible. If I had been traveling with my children, which I frequently do, I would have slept in the car with them before exposing them to that room. I have attempted to get ANY kind of customer service, but my requests have not been responded to. This saddens me, as I love orbitz, and frequently make reservations through the site. Now I am not sure if I can rely on the accomodations they recommend. I would really appreciate someone trying to mend this bad experience.
