The hotel and the room were OK but the location is shocking, about 10 kilometres out of town and not close to anything of interest.

A new hotel, trying very hard to please, some English speaking staff. Very outer industrial suburbs of Qingdao, not convenient for comfortable city sightseeing. Descibed as being opposite Tsingtao brewary,it is BUT not the historic Tsingtao brewary in the middle of Qingdao. But every cloud has a silver lineing, Tsingtao beer is 1.50 RMB a pint. and its half way to laoshan where there is an excellent temple and National Park AND the best vineyard in China, whose wines have won medals in France. Good cab sav and chardonney. Chateau Haudong Perry.
