The service is outstanding, especially in regards to the attention our two year old received. We were upgraded and given a late check out for no extra charge. Would recommend and stay again.

Very comfortable hotel which makes you forget you are in the middle of a big city. Rooms: Great - lots of silk furnishings and lovely views over the inner courtyard. Staff: Professional & helpful, but lacking the friendliness of the Oriental. Spa: Not great - the treatment room was at the back of the manager''s office. I had to squeeze behind his chair to get to the room and could hear him on the phone throughout my massage. Mirrors: Too many of them - I kept walking into them thinking they were glass doors!<br><br> Overall - I would recommend this hotel for a short break, especially for the grounds and the fact that it is so different from your normal city hotel. However,I think I would still prefer the Oriental for overall service and ambience.

This is a wonderful hotel if you are looking for a serene, relaxing environment. The service is impeccable. If you are looking for a big, glitzy hotel, this is not the place for you.
