Sugar Bay Resort & Spa All Inclusive St. Thomas Guest Reviews
Overall location and facilities were very good. Staff were clueless and very slow to respond to requests. Hotel needs to decide if they are an all-inclusive resort or not.

The hotel has a wide range of activities all day for all ages. It has great swimming pools, basketball courts, tennis courts, and a spa. The hotel shows a free movie every day. Get the bay view or the sea view rooms. Bayview rooms also overlook the pool which could be nice but could get noisy too. Great value for the money! The lobby has a ice cream shop that sells amazing baked goodies!

We arrived at St Thomas on Sunday and had our Wedding Tuesday at a secluded Beach!! Lindquist Beach is breathtaking! Sugar Bay set up 2 hair apts for Myself and daughter for 7am and they came in early for us! We had a 9 am wedding! That was a perfect time of the day for a wedding!

I was very pleasantly surprised at Sugar Bay Resort. The rooms are spacious and mine had a great ocean view. The all inclusive option offered nice choices and great food, as well as great "rack rate" cocktails. The staff was friendly and courteous - I highly recommend. There is one advantage to this resort that is also a drawback - it's on a cliff. This means your views are great but it's a long hike down quite a few stairs to the pool and the beach. In the end, it's all worth it and I would definitely go back again.

Sugar Bay's main lobby was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. The staff, from the front desk to the wait staff to the cashiers in the gift shop & cafe, were super nice. The remote & refridgerator in my room did not work initially but the engineer on duty came out in the rain to ensure that they were taken care of expeditiously. I have an issue with the fact that they charge so much to use the computers (.70 cents/min, minimum of $7 required) & then additionally to print. That's highway robbery! My room was clean & decent although some upgrades need to be made. The curtain leading to the balcony was heavily stained. There are areas on the bathroom floor & in the tub that need to be repaired, repainted, & reglazed. However, the bed & pillows were extremely comfortable. Overall, my stay at Sugar Bay was pleasant. There needs to be more activities available for days when it rains.
