My husband and I had a good stay in Rotorua. The hotel was located in a very nice place and the room was good. The bathroom could have been better though. It was neat and clean but it could do with an upgrade. All in all it was a good stay and for the price, it was good too.

I'm glad my room had A/C as it would have been uncomfortable otherwise. I noticed some rooms didn't have A/C.

We had a family of 4 and a child and booked 2 rooms. We booked online on hotelclyb.com and got a good deal of the rooms, free breakfast (great spread, NZ standard) and free 2 attractions (choose between polynesian spa, rainbow springs, and agrodome). The service at the counter was average. We got offered for our bags to be taken to the room for us though. The rooms were clean and the beds were nice and large. We had two doubles in each room. The location was good. Close to town and a close drive to tourist attractions. What put me off was the fact that we had to pay for a baby cot and we have to call every 24 hours to tell them that we want the cot for that night. I don't really understand the logic for this. We ended up not getting the cot.

It was a great decision to stay at Sudima Hotel. I requested for an airconditioned room and no smoking area ( i'm suffering from terrible hay fever) and they granted it without questions. They even apologize as there's no lake view on the airconditioned rooms and asked me if i need help with my luggages. The staff are friendly and it was a lovely, relaxed weekend getaway, just wanted to see Rotorua again after 2 years.

Booked and stayed in a superior room. The room itself was nice and comfortable, though a bit small. The bathroom however, was a completely different story. The bathroom was extremely small, with moss and mould growing on the shower tap, underneath the soap holder, and around the window sill. There were also cracks on the wall. The bathroom was anything but superior and brought down the standard of the entire room, making it difficult to believe that I was staying in a superior room.

We were in Rotorua for a Conference. Did not get a chance to use all the facilities, i.e. pool but we did have a good look round. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The room we were in was a wee bit dated, but we could see that they are in process of updating rooms. It was very clean and well looked after, so no problem there.

Your advertised deal was not delivered. You offered $114 per night breakfast included which we accepted and booked for. We were billed $100 per night but no breakfast. Hotel offered a concession $20 per head breakfast in compensation. A great deal turned into a very average deal. Not sure if it was the hotels fault or fault of your booking agency. Room OK but a couple of maintenance lapses which were reported.

Great location but the room is not good. Busy hotel with a lot of tour. The room is not very clean and you can hear the sound from outside. Staffs are not friendly. Very disappointed!

We chose the Sudima for location, as we had a function at the Millenium next door. Great location for shops, attractions etc. We were in the older 2 storey building of units, which were comfortable and clean. We were surprised that there was no air conditioning, but there was a ceiling fan, which was a necessity, as it was fairly warm and humid.

Loved it! Much more than a 3 star!!! Only two stories high so could even open a window if we had wanted to. Have stayed once before and will do so again the best value for money you can get!

Quite dear compared to other hotels and we were quite disappointed with the standard of the room... tiny TV, broken fan, ugly furnishings. The room stank (not rotorua smell, actually stank) like fish the whole time. No air conditioning meant the room was very hot. Staff were very good and helpful but it doesn't make up for the poor room. Would not book here again.

Spent a night at this hotel in a terrace room which was large and quite adequate with tea/coffee making available. The hotel is very close to the Government Gardens and the Rotorua Event Centre where the conference was held was under 10 mins walk around the lake edge.

Liked: being able to walk to town and thermal areas around lake; private spa pools (reservable for 30 minutes) Disliked: expensive internet that was very slow at peak times; small swimming pool; food

This hotel is very well situated on the Lake edge and walking distance to city centre. Our room was quiet as we were at the back without a view. All staff were very helpful and we enjoyed our weekend break.
