great breakfast, not so great clubs by the front door(when you are with kids)

The location next to the Charlottenburg SBahn station makes this a good spot. Also check out the Charlottenchen restuarant a block away (exit the opposite end of Charlottenburg station and turn right, one block down). Excellent food and it's a dinner theatre for little kids some nights. Good for families.

Very comfortable rooms (4m to ceilings!) and standard European breakfast buffet. Very convienently-located to both S-bahn and U-bahn train lines. Nearby children's playground with quaint restaurants/cafes for attending parents. Late at night, the street-level strip clubs under the hotel open for business... which was NOT brisk. Very quiet and unobtrusive. You won't be bothered by them at ALL. Highly recommended for price and location.

The Stuttgarter Eck Hotel is a clean and well run hotel but families should be aware that the hotel is located above an "erotic bar" in a district with much adult night life.

First receptionist very friendly and helpful (wanted to be paid in cash), area was slightly questionable (night clubs etc.) but didn't seem at all dangerous. Very clean, room comfortable. Good value for money, will probably book again on return trip.
