Location
Just a three minute walk from the centre of Interlaken, guests of the Stella can soon be on the historic Hoheweg or exploring the city. For guests who enjoy walking, the nearby River Aare has a lovely path to the Weissenau Nature Reserve and onwards to the Beatus caves.
Rooms
No two rooms at the Stella are the same, but one thing they all have in common are their facilities such as en suite bathrooms, colour TV, mini bar, safe, and hairdryer.
Restaurant
The Stelleambiente restaurant is open for breakfast lunch and dinner. Meals can be buffet style with a changing theme each day, or guests can choose from two seasonal menus.
General
The Stella Swiss Quality Hotel is a very friendly and homely hotel providing an excellent service. The hotel also offers its guests a heated swimming pool - indoor, parking facilities, and convenient access to three of the most popular ski runs in Switzerland. For business guests the hotel also offers meeting facilities.

The hotel is located very near to Interlaken west railway station. It is just 10 minutes by walk. But the pricing is bit high considering the small size of the single room. They have a mini bar inside the room. You can use the drinks in it and pay when you check out. Also the rooms do not have air conditioner. It will be very difficult to stay here in summer. Even in a cold season like this it was soultry for me inside the room. The hotel is very clean and they offer a decent breakfast. The reception staff are cordial and provide very good information about the city and tourist spots. But they work only till 11 PM and after that recption staff will answer only emergency calls. Thus it is difficult to get some information in late night.

Would recommend this excellent "boutique" hotel with indoor heated pool, great views, good restaurant and attentive service.

The service at this hotel was stellar - better than anywhere else I've stayed. It was clean and relatively well located. On the other hand - the room was old, both furnature and decorations. I would have expected more from a 4 star and the price. But, if personal high quality service is what you're looking for - this is definatly the place. The restaurant was also fabulous - they will make a personalised "surprise" gormet meal for you with 24 hours notice - very very good.

This is a nice hotel, situated a tiny bit off the main tourist drag, so that it is quiet without being too far from everything. Nice views from my room, and I would imagine most of the rooms. Good service, and a stunningly good restaurant. I enjoyed it here.

Staff very helpful.We left an item behind and it was posted back to us promptly.Indoor pool very nice.Cheerfully organised tours for us.Very enjoyable.Breakfast better than silmilar hotels in Switzerland.Hotel decor dated but service location and breakfast more than compensate.
