A favourite of mine along the danube river donaulande cycle path at Am Winterhaven pontoon outside of town. Linz accessible by car or taxi / bicycle / Walking path. Beautiful terrace.

Very clean and has a big free parking place (but for fee 10 €/one car/one booking). People are kind and friendly. From hotel is nice trip to the center of Linz around Dunaj river.

I have stayed a few times at this my favourite hotel in Linz on the Danube cycle path. Rooms are excellent and the breakfast can be taken on the terrace in good weather. For the fit there is a lovely walk along the danube park path at the back of the hotel into town passing the Brucknerhaus and the Lentor Museum.

The Steigenberger Hotel Linz was a superb hotel, the decor & furniture was so original from any other hotel I have been in. I loved the short walk right behind the hotel along the Danube (Donau) path into the centre. You could also hire a bike from the hotel to explore along the path on both sides of the Danube.I would love to go back to this hotel and to Linz.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was set in a beautiful location near to all of the amenities you may require. We will definitely return as our stay there was nothing short of wonderful.
