the staff are pleasant and helpfull, but insist on speaking German when they know that you are English and possibly dont understand the German language

Perfectly placed right in the centre of Dresden for good sightseeing and restaurants

The hotel is in a perfect location in the centre of the old town and is convenient for every attraction in Dresden. The breakfast was slightly expensive but was really nice, with a smart dining room and lots of choice. Unfortunately our room was on level 5 and this meant that we had small windows on a higher level than a normal window would be. You had to stand to look out but as the view was of a building site I suppose it didn't really matter! It is a lovely hotel for all that.
