What others have said is correct: this is perhaps one of the better value in lodging in the capital region. While not perfect, this hotel offers amenities far greater than what its two-star designation suggests, making it a logical choice for both the budget minded and those who demand a certain level of comfort without paying a premium for brand recognition.

I've never stayed here before. I used it as an overnight stop. The pictures looked nice, so I gave it a shot. I was very pleased. I did advance check in and only stopped at the front desk to pick up my key. The hotel was nicely remodeled. The room was very comfortable. Lots of pillows! The bathroom could use an exhaust fan for shower steam. I would have liked an indoor pool, but oh well. Since the pool was outside, other guests used the pool deck as a patio. A little awkward for swimmers. The breakfast was good and a hotel employee kept up with restocking as needed.

Pretty good value, better than expected gym, no wifi in room, ok location in Latham, comfortable beds, but cleanliness was problematic - got some kind of skin rash on my face the first night, and then realized I had scabies after I left the hotel.

I booked this hotel after reading its reviews. I was very impressed upon arrival. Friendly staff. Good breakfast, made some hot waffles. The is a nice pool, gym.. Although we were disspointed we could not use the pool due to the unexpected rain. The only downside to this hotel is that there is no Wifi in the rooms. You have to go down to the lobby to access the internet and there aren't any refridgerators or microwaves in the rooms. However, comfortable beds, very clean bathroom and linens..We went to Saratoga Springs, NY for a SUNY, ESC college graduation. Most of the Hotels in historic Saratoga Springs are very pricey, so I decided to book a hotel a few miles out. This hotel is only about 30 mins away from Saratoga and many other places. I recommend this place for the price its asking is very worth it.
