very close to the airport, clean, a safe is present for valuables, reception was closed and I had to go to the other hotel to collect the code for the room (the advert was not clear about its location, no picture), no kettle in the room

The room was about 5 years overdue for a fresh coat of paint. Water stains on the walls from the window left open, paint splatters on another wall, and a very dirty wall near the desk. The showerhead was broken but servicable. If you don't have a car there is a bus stop to Geneva in front of the hotel. Vereny is a small town so not a lot to see on foot. The 7 Euro breakfast is acceptable. Staff was nice.

I wanted to stay close to the airport but there was no shuttlebus to this hotel although there were to other hotels, and the taxi cost 20 euro each way. I had to pick up a code to get in from another hotel down a dark lane and when I got in to my hotel the corridoors were completely dark and it was hard to find my room. The room needed hoovering and the walls were stained. However the bed was comfy and the shower was strong and the place was totally quiet. The blankets on the bed were thin and stained, only the sheets and pillowcases were clean. For the extra 40 euro I spent on the taxis I am sure I could have stayed somewhere better. This place is a false economy and it is a very depressing place to stay.

This hotel is very basic and badly in need of a refit. I have stayed here a number of times because it is very close to Geneva airport on the french side. It is also relatively cheap. Not somewhere I would take my wife on holiday but good enough for ski buddies with an early morning flight.

The hotel is at the border of France and Geneva. Near to the Geneva airport but it is at France actually.
