I just returned from my stay in Rome at the Starhotel Michaelangelo. The room was a good size compared to most European hotels, and the staff on the whole were helpful. The hotel is a bit run down, and could use some updating, but the room was very clean. The breakfast was not good compared to most European breakfasts. The location was very good for visiting the Vatican, but I had to take many buses and taxis during my 3 day stay to visit other attractions. If I return to Rome, I would stay in a more Central location.

My niece and I thoroughly enjoyed stating at this hotel. Guisseppe was wonderful and so accommodating. I was surprised that we had to pay for internet service, but later I found out that it is quite common in Europe. The breakfast was very good. Location really couldn't be any better! The train station and St. Peter's Basilica were both a short walking distance. I would totally stay there again and recommend it to anyone going to Rome!

nice hotel although waiter in breakfast room did like to throw the cutlery at you while setting the table, and address you with a hoy over here. Everyone else very helpful. Brilliant location for vatican and 15m walk to piazza navona. very clean beds changed i think every day it appeared. breakfast very good.would recommend.

Overall a good hotel. The a/c is turned off by November so the room was warm even with the window open. Our room faced the alley way behind the hotel so with the window, open early morning deliveries were noisy.
