St. Giles Hotel Heathrow
4 out of 5

Hotel is close to Heathrow and Feltham Station allowing easy access back in to London or Kew/Richmond for last minute shopping and/or sight-seeing as well as providing fairly hassle free access to the airport for departure. Room lighting was pretty poor but otherwise everything worked and was sufficient for a comfortable night with plenty of room to repack for the trip home. Staff were very helpful with navigation and transport advice and changing rooms promptly when we discovered the previous guests had stunk up our room with cigarette smoke. Definietly recommend checking out of the car park at the desk rather than the machine - much better results. Local pub had excellent atmosphere and good, cheap grub for dinner!

I have to say that I was HIGHLY disappointed with this website upon my arrival to this hotel. The credit card information that this website had supplied to the hotel came back declined, not only once but twice with different credit card numbers. The staff worked with me and gave me a room while they contacted this website again and finally recieved a good credit card number. All of the staff were extremely friendly and sympathetic to my situation with this website. They were all very knowledgable about where places were for dining, site seeing, and amusement. The directions they gave me any one could have followed they were very precise and accurate. The rooms were extremely well taken care of and you could tell the staff took pride in their work by the way the hotel was kept clean. Thanks to all of the staff again for the help and hospitality that you should me during my stay. Keep up the Excellent work, and I will see you all again shortly.

The room was decent and good if your there for a short stay, 2 nights at the most. Nothing very special about it, just close to the airport.

Easily accessible. Frequent bus services to/from LHR. BR train station just across the road. Value for money, comfortable accommodation.

I have stayed at the same hotel atleast three to four times before during my business visits to UK.The rate offered used to be always including breakfast;but this time it was for 'Room Only' which was quite disappointing. Another thing I noticed was that they have stopped Pay TV facility now. On the whole there is nothing great to share about my stay there this time.

No service in the restaurant until 0630 so if U need to leave early as I did no breakfast. However food was excellent in restaurant night before. Good price, clean rooms but a little bit out of the way for just a nights stopover. However good location for trains into London and not a bad price for the room.

The close proximity of St Giles to Heathrow is a real plus. Also being close to Feltham station is a bonus. The staff could not have been more helpful. The whole atmosphere was one of friendliness.

Stayed there before certainly not the best but not the worst either for the money is very good value for money. Staff helpful rooms a little tired but clean hotel could do with a bit of a makeover. Only gripe was i arrived at 4pm and Car Park was full then. Will i use the hotel again ....Absolutely.

Nice hotel, with a nice hotel bar - rooms a bit basic but for the money we paid we certainly wont be complaining. Will be staying here again in the future.

We stayed 3 nights with 2 doublle rooms in middle of winter, Rooms were good size, very clean tidy and warm. (beds were a bit lumpy) Breakfast was very good with good selections. Location was great , 2 min to rail station and supermarket. Rail line 25mins direct line to London center, and opposite direction 25 min direct line to Windsor Castle. 10-15 min taxi to heathrow. Price was more than most places we stayed thru Europe but for London was very good value. Hotel location and facilities - great.

Unfussy, clean and light. Bath not big enough, water slopped all over the floor. Ate a really nice meal in the restaurant but breakfast not great. Receptionist on check in very helpful and charming.

We were only overnighters with an early morning departure, however, hotel organised a breakfast box the night before. Very handy for bus or train to airport.

Staff are not well trained and lack flexibility. Although the hotel was obviously not very busy, the front desk did not extend a late check-out by 2hrs (till 2PM). The hotel is good value for moeny though.

For the price of the hotel room, we feel that we didn't receive the kind of quality that we expected. The AC didn't work, what few towels there were, were hidden, and there was no ice bucket, only one styrofoam cup. Although we reserved two rooms, one for our children, they were not adjacent. There wasn't even any Guinness draft in the bar. At this point, we cannot recommend this hotel.
