St George Hotel Rome Guest Reviews (6)
The hotel was just as lovely as it looked in the brochure which is always a good start! The room was not huge but beautiful bed linen and contemporary feel and some nice touches like the dressing gowns and slippers! Breakfast was a fantastic spread that would suit all tastes but the waiting staff, whilst pleasant, were just not up to the standard of the hotel - we found they forgot things - a jug of milk for my breakfast tea was one example and another time they forgot to bring us the wine we ordered to go with our meal! The location was fab - 10 mins walk to the Vatican and only a bit further to lots of other key sites to see. All in all, a wonderful break and would definitely recommend.

The St. George was a fantastic respite during our 5 day stay in Rome. The decor is wonderful, the ammenities, spa, sauna's etc are luxurious, as are the linens, mattress, etc. The location is also superb. It's a short walk to P Navona, the river or Travestere. All the major historical sites were within walking distance from us and when we called a cab, the fare was never more than $10. The staff at this hotel are 5 Star all the way. They made us feel like we were at home and anything we needed, they took care of immediately. The breakfast was great. Lots of variety and high quality. One evening we ate in their dining room, which was one of the best meals we had in Rome. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

A very pleasant hotel with wonderful breakfast and spa. Staff very friendly but resteraunt always empty. Rooftop is an asset but limited choice of food and unacceptable cost for drinks even for 5* (min 16EUR for small beer or glass of wine and Soup starting at 20EUR). Overall nice hotel but not as good as they think they are, they appear to be pricing themselves out of the market - didnt see a single diner all week.

Pricey but could not fault this hotel for location and facilities. One of the best breakfasts I've had in Europe and it was so nice to come back to the spa/plunge pool in the afternoon to soothe the aching feet afer a day walking on cobblestones!! The roof top bar/garden is closed on Sunday and Monday and the drinks very expensive but the view over the roof tops of Rome is special. Would definitely stay there again.
