Spruce Grove Inn Banff Guest Reviews
The hotel was about a 15 minute walk from downtown which was great. The only problem we had was we think the room needed to be fumigated as we left with some kind of bites all over us that are very itchy. Otherwise hotel was good.

Very friendly staff; a pleasure to deal with. Make sure that you bring your own hair dryer though!

The shared pool with the sister hotel was inconvenient and not specified at the time of booking, however the pool itself is nice. The room was not the cleanest. There was scraps of paper behind the television and the nightstand, and it seemed quite dusty as well. There was not enough toiletries such as shampoo and there was an empty kleenex box in the bathroom dispenser. No extra pillows or blankets. For the price I expected a little better service, although for a hotel in Banff it would be considered reasonable. It's not really walking distance to the downtown area, a bit too far. Would I stay there again. I would give it another try for the benefit of the doubt.

On the edge of town 15mins walk to centre - or short bus/ taxi ride. Facilities are provided next door at sister hotel (The Voyager). Although I have rated the pricing as 'bad', it is probably average for what you get in this location. V.Good steakhouse nearby.
