Ideally situated right in the town centre, among the Suquet, the Palais des Festivals and the Casino, the Splendid Hotel Cannes is one of the miniature palaces. The hotel is close to the rue d'Antibes, Cannes' leading shopping street. A 5 minutes walk will lead you to the Forville market, the train station and the beaches.

This is a lovely old traditional hotel which has been refurbished using the lovely colours and textures of the area. The rooms are comfortably furnished with good beds and bathrooms. The rooms with a seaview are quite noisy but that is the case in most of Cannes and the position cannot be bettered for closeness of shops, restaurants and La Croisette; it is also close to good travel links. Breakfast is good and served in a pleasant room with a terrace for sunny mornings. The only downside is there is no parking but one can stop to unload luggage, public parking is plentiful but expensive.
