This is an excellent hotel for 1 or 2 nights stay. It is still undergoing refurbishment so not all facilities were available. The bar area is now excellent, big improvement on before. It is a little way out of the main city centre but good location for our business needs.

The hotel was being renovated, and only the lobby and the bar was finished at the time of our stay. They were very nice. The rooms and the breakfast restaurant was not renovated(to be finished early 2009) but was OK anyway. Good location, it only takes a few minutes to reach central Gothenburg by railbus.

tram stop right outside hotel to City, takes 10-15mins. Good value and i would go back.

Although the hotel is not exactly located at central Gothenburg there is a tram station almost in front of the hotel with easy access to downtown. I recommend to buy a 100 kronor ticket (about 7 pounds) in one of the tobaco/ice-cream/newspaper shop what gives you about 6-7 trips inside areas 1 and 2 (ask the number to press in the machine to charge to your destination and then you can change tram in the next 1 1/2 hour just pressing the free of charge first bottom in the machine. When there is not enough money left in the ticket, the driver will make the difference to pay cash). A ICA supermarket open until 10 pm and a reasonable good pizzaria close to the hotel has proved to be useful too.
