Oviedo Hotels

The Cathedral of San Salvador is the most prominent landmark in Oviedo, with a UNESCO World Heritage Holy Chamber that dates back to the 9th century. The rest of the magnificent cathedral complex was built in the 14th century and certainly merits more than a cursory tour. The Monastery of San Vicente dates back to the year 781, incredibly, and contains the excellent Archaeological Museum of Asturias. Other important attractions in Oviedo include the Art Nouveau Casas del Cuito, House of the Llanes and another UNESCO World Heritage landmark in the Basilica of San Julián de los Prados.
