Getting There and Around
Visitors will land at the Vitoria-Gastiez Airport. Bus service is provided to and from the airport or you can rent a car. Alava boasts excellent roads so you can drive there from another point in Spain or take a coach service. There is a train station that runs to all points in Basque country.
Within the province, you can drive or take trains or buses. The city of Vitoria-Gastiez is promoting the riding of bikes instead of driving. Most towns are small enough that walking is the easiest way to go.
